Five days later, his memorial service at the Melnea Case Recreation Center is interrupted when a group of young men who had been turned away from the event by Oller’s family and friends spraying the building with bullets. Arriving at the scene shortly after the shooting, Boston City Councilor Tito Jackson declares, “This is a new low.”
